International Coffee day

اليوم العالمي للقهوة
International Coffee day

Since 2016, October the 1st has been marked as International coffee days. Let's hit our favorite cafe because some of them are giving great discounts on this day

Do you know where the word coffee and cafe come from? Initially I thought coffee is an original English word and Cafe is a lone word from French or Italian.

I was wrong. Both coffee and cafe came from an Arabic word Qahwah
قَهْوَةٌ

Normally people adds sugar to increase the sweetness or the sucrose level of the coffee. Sugar and sucrose also came from an Arabic word Sukkar
سُكَّرٌ

How about when you adds coco to a coffee? then this it is called Mocha. This term is taken from an Arab port at Yemen named Al-Mukha
اَلْمُخَا

Let's drink coffee and happy International Coffee Day :)
