Welcome to the school fo taqwa

الحمد لله. وصلاة والسلام على رسول الله
All praise due to Allah. Salawat and Salam to Rasullullah

أهْلاً وَسَهْلاً وَمَرْحَباً بِكُمْ فِي مَدْرَسَةِ التَّقْوَى
Welcome to the School of Taqwa

In this month of Ramadhan we the muslims are obligated by our dean to fast. Allah  SWT said in the holy Quran by fasting we could reach taqwa. The following verse said it:-

In english taqwa is traslated to fear of Allah, god consciousness, righteous. As an engineer I understand it like this "It is a form of preventive measure so that we don't invite the wrath of Allah". Let's check out the definition of taqwa by Umar Al-Khattab RA :-

‘Umar ibn Abdul Aziz (ra) once said, “Taqwa is not by fasting the day and not by praying the night. And its not by mixing between the two of them. But taqwa is leaving what Allah (swt) has made Haram and by doing what Allah (swt) has made Fard. After one has done this, Allah (swt) will provide good things for that person.”

In the following verse Allah SWT tell us the characteristic of people with taqwa:-

May Allah grand us this characteristic, May Allah make our fasting leads to taqwa. I end this entry with a dua form Riyadus Soliheen by Imam An-Nawawi

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى

Oh Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety( taqwa ), virtue and sufficiency.
MY :“Ya Allah, sesungguhnya aku memohon pada-Mu berikanlah ku hidayah, ketakwaan, kesucian, dan kekayaan.”
