كِتَابٌ فُصِّلَتْ آيَاتُهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
سورة فصلت : 3

A Book whose verses have been detailed, an Arabic Qur'an for a people who know,




إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
سورة يوسف: 2 
Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an that you might understand.

  

كلَُ جَمْعٍ مُؤنْثٌ

بسم الله

One day a king is having some discussion with his ministers in the palace. In a rush an army commander ran into the king and said "Your highness,  a جمع of enamy soldiers are heading to our land" . ( meaning: a group of enamy soldier is heading to our land ). Calmly the king said "Don't worry, كلَُ جَمْعٍ مُؤنْثٌ " ( meaning: Don't worry, for every جمع is one lady )   BTW. Pretty much the chain of narrations  of this story is like this... Dr. V -> Bro Asif -> LQ Toronto video -> أنا

Thus said for every plural of غير عاقل nouns, we treat it as female singular noun! This is also know as irrational nouns or unintelligent noun . Accroding to Dr. V book and Bro Asif video, anything is not human, angle, genie and devil are غير عاقل

A book is كِتَابٌ
A حمع or plural of كتاب is كُتُبٌ

هذا كتاب. هو جميل
هذه كتب. هي جميلة

3 ways to assign a variable into a variable

أنا أحب اللغة بَشْ
I love the BASH language

The following are 3 ways to assign a variable into another variable in BASH بَشْ

VAR1=`echo $VAR2`

VAR1=$(echo $VAR2)

VAR1="$2"

In my personal view, the third method is the most handsome! Please take note that there is no space in between the = sign

Arabic root words characteristics

1. It is always past tense مَاضِي
2. It is always 3rd person  غَائِب
3. It is always singular مُفْرَد
4. It is always masculine مُذَكَّر

Attached pronouns ( ضمائر متصلة ) relationship with others

 

اسم + ضمير = مضاف + مضاف اليه

المثل: كِتَابٌ + هُوْ = كِتَابُهُ

حرف الجر + ضمير = جار ومجرور

المثل: مِنْ + هُوْ = مِنْهُ

ظرف + ضمير = ظرف + مضاف اليه

المثل: عِنْدَ + هُوْ = عِنْدَهُ
